Сою́з (Soyuz) Longboard

The "Soyuz" is a commissioned design I made this summer for Restless. It was recently released and can be purchased at many fine board shops in the Montreal area and beyond, or you can order directly from their website (though I'm not sure if it's specifically listed their yet).



The red part of the board is actually the wood of the deck itself stained red.

The other board is one of my older designs named "Telsa Bunny" (also available for purchase). I only included it in this post because I don't think I had ever shown a picture of the deck itself.



I was asked to create a design with the Soyuz theme in mind. I took inspiration from some old Soviet space program art that I found online.

I few months ago I designed the logo for Restless Longboards (the chosen logo is a variation #1):




They were ever-so pleased that they offered me a free custom longboard. So I finally completed the design I wanted for it, and here it is:
