Dusk

In light of all recent super-themed films, I thought it might be a good time to bring back out my superhero team; Nitro Blitz, Featuring the brilliant Seraphim, the overconfident Ecstasy, the homeless Solarus and the luscious BloodStar.

I hesitated a lot with how I was going to approach this one. I settled with cell shading, though I originally wanted to give it a really painterly look. Problem is my comp seems to be having trouble managing Photoshop these days so the brush strokes of my tablet always have huge delays that kind of kill the feeling of painting. OH well.

Winston Blue

An older drawing I had always wanted to color...

Clean-up is for squares

Nah, clean-up's alright, just doesn't ALWAYS seem necessary, heh.

Nothing's more badass than Snow White with an assault rifle.

The building itself.

From the catwalk.

More catwalkin'.

Rooftops, from la marche des chats.

Hopefully some drawings soon. I have been drawing quite a bit, but mostly for work which i can't post, heh.

Bonzai Films

After a relaxing week in Miami, I'm now busy in the exiting world of freelancing. I got a one month contract deal as an assistant animator with the up and coming Bonzai Films studio in Montreal. I must say it's quite an exiting project to work on, especially compared to the digital cut-out animation i was doing last summer. Though I can't say much, I can say it's a feature film and I'm animating traditionally. Nuts to all who say there's only Flash and 3D jobs out there! The release is early next year... so everything else will have to remain secret until then.

My work station.

My supremo view, haha. Forgot to mention it's in this wicked old factory that was revamped for various businesses. Should've taken outside pics... there are catwalks and everything!

Final Blitz

It's the last few weeks of the school semester, so things are getting pretty busy. This may very well be my last post before it's over. Sooooooooo.... here are a few pen & marker doodles from my new sketchbook.

I've also been trying hard to secure some employment for the summer. I've been applying at a bunch of smaller studios in Montreal. So far nothing certain, but I'm making valuable contacts. wish me luck.

TV Light Is Usually Blue...

Been screwin' around in Flash, doin' some graphical junk. Threw in an old character for good measure.

Roz, Mystical Countess of Colour helped out on this one.
